GED Mathematics Practice Test Part 1
The Mathematics Test consists of multiple-choice questions intended to measure general mathematics skills and problem-solving ability. The questions are based on short readings which often include a graph, chart, or figure. The formulas you may need to use are here. Not all the formulas given will be needed. Take this practice test to help you prepare or see if you are prepared for the Mathematics portion of the GED test. This is part 1 and calculators ARE permitted in this part of the test.
Shelton State Community College General Educational Development (GED) Classes
We offer free GED practice testing. We suggest that adult learners take the GED practice test before scheduling the official GED test. The practice test will identify if there are any areas that need to be worked on before taking the official GED test. We offer the practice test as a courtesy to help individuals gauge whether or not they are ready for the exam. Shelton State Community College does not administer the official GED Test.
Free GED Preparation Classes
Parkland's GED Preparation classes are designed to help individuals learn the reading, math, and other skills necessary to pass the GED examination and are tailored to the individual's level of readiness. These free classes serve a diverse population and are offered throughout Parkland's district. Classes are available free of charge to those who qualify for services and all materials will be provided.
